Here's a few pix from this morning at the school. He was sooooo excited to have an envelope with his lunch money in it and make a choice about his lunch.

He said he had a good day. He told me he didn't learn anything, but had fun... so, I guess that's what it's all about. He did put up a little fuss when I left this morning, but I think it was more for show. They said he stopped within a couple of minutes.
Also, he came home with a catalog for their annual fundraiser.... so, I will be sending an email out with a link, to see if anyone would like to order: http://www.minkco.com/ They will ship directly to your home.... if you decide to order, please make sure you tell them it's for Alan Stevenson, Lighthouse Christian Academy, K-3 Ms. Jackson.
Alan's teacher, Ms. Jackson, said he really knows his lessons and does them very well. The only problems were he wanted to tell her what he wanted to do and when he wanted to do it. Ms. Jackson was very patient with him and Alan went up to her later (on his own) and apologized to her and told her he wasn't going to do that anymore and he was going to be a big boy. He did end up with a time out later that afternoon, but all in all, it was a much better day. No spitting, no hitting, no screaming, no meltdowns, etc. We made the right choice.

Alan has already picked out his clothes for tomorrow and is actually excited about tomorrow. Let's hope it keeps up!
