Alan and Dakota had a blast at the playground at the ballpark. Ryan tried to do everything the big kids did... poor boy was sweating up a storm. We finally had to take his shirt off because he was sooooo sweaty. Dale beat Willie at tug of war and won a knology gift pack. There was an entertainer who did the village people, man, he was AWESOME!! It was 70's night at the ballpark... ooops, forgot our polyester shirts....
Our team did win in the bottom of the ninth. We finally left the ballpark around 10:30 pm. Gail and Dale brought Dakota over and he actually stayed the night with us.
Ry feel asleep on the way home, so we just took off his shorts, changed his diaper and put him to bed. He didn't even stir, he was soooo tired. In case you didn't know, this is my light sleeper! Alan and Dakota got put in the tub to get rid of all the sweat and sno cone syrup. I think I finally got Dakota to sleep around 12:30 and Alan around 1 am..... the slept on a pallet on the floor in the living room.
Saturday morning, they had a nutritional breakfast of chocolate doughnuts and chocolate milk. After breakfast and cartoons, we cleaned up our sleeping pallets and put on sunscreen and our swim trunks. The boys played in the sprinkler and wading pool. The boys played outside for about 2 hours or so and had just came in when Gail came and picked Dakota up. We enjoyed having Dakota over and hope he will come stay with us again. I think all of us were in bed early Saturday night!
